On this day, July 23rd,
Something wonderful has occurred,
God has brought this woman and man
To His altar, to exchange wedding bands.
He brought them here with His gift of love
It’s given, and shared, with God above
God’s a part of this marriage meant to be
He will bless and guide it, to it’s destiny.
Steve and Kim join as one today
Their lives no longer as they were, just yesterday
They’ll grow together now,
As will the love and bond they’ve formed,
Giving them the strength they’ll need
To ride out, any on-coming storm.
Their knowledge of love will be taught
To their children later on,
So that when their children grow
They’ll continue to pass it on.
Steve and Kim will look back with pride
Knowing they’ve done their best,
I’m sure, looking back on this wondrous day
Calling it a success!
And now I’d like to take the time
To tell my brother this;
How very much I love him
And how much he will be missed.
But most of all, I want to relate
How very proud I am of him,
Because he’s found happiness,
With a beautiful person;
My new sister, Kim.
